Roller Blinds

The best thing about roller blinds is that you get them at a cheap price but with good quality. Don’t expect this for other types of blinds because this basically applies to cheap roller blinds. Then again inexpensive is a relative word but how would you feel if you can get something for say fifteen bucks from a store like IKEA. Sounds good don’t it? Cost wise there really aren’t that many more window treatment options that cost much less than this. Yes you can always put a fabric over windows a.k.a curtains but blinds are much better, if you ask me.

So let’s say our budget is $15. We know we can score something of good quality at IKEA for that much but what if we wanted to go even lower than 15 dollars, what are our options then? The size of the window definitely matters and just to clarify matters the window size I had in mind when I quoted the price above is a 39″x63″ window frame. You’ll pay more for larger sizes and less for smaller sizes, so calculate appropriately. And a reminder, since cheap is a relative term, you can also opt for something for the same size window that costs $30 from the same store but much more trendier. And by trendier I mean nicer color and nicer material. But some people don’t even want that, they simply want a workable cheap roller blind and the lower the price the better. Well for around 5 bucks you can get something by Levolor that is offered on Amazon. It is as simple as it gets, you will have to buy your own brackets that will be mounted on the inside. The will cost an additional $1, but for a total of around $6 you can basically find an all white roller blinds that is actually made by one of the best companies in the market.

There you have it, now you know exactly what you can get cheap roller blinds at the lowest price available. Just keep in mind the hardware that you will need, some particular brands need specific hardware so take that into account before ordering. The cheapest options also tend to come only in white colors but when paying around five dollars who can really complain.

Blinds might be a hassle for some people but this surely doesn’t apply to roller blinds. This particular style is a simple as you can get because you don’t have to worry about opening and closing louvers. Roller blinds as the name suggests roll up or down and they are really as simple as that. They are made to measure but standard sizes should be able to fit most windows. If you enjoy darkness in your home then these blinds will please you. They are also the least expensive design in the market. You shouldn’t have to pay more than $15 for a small window. The choice of colors is also impressive because they come in neutral colors as well as more modern stylish colors. Fuschia and Aqua are very much in style these days.

You’re certainly not limited to beautiful solid colors. Roller blinds are also patterned and are available in patterned designs. Printed floral designs are very popular but fabrics also have much more modern styles as well. Installing roller blinds on three adjacent windows can look quite stunning. This is of course all possible because the width of the blinds are measured and cut to fit your windows exactly. What’s also wonderful about them is that they don’t need as much maintenance as horizontal or vertical blinds.

Cheap roller blinds can be found just about anywhere that sell assorted window treatments. If you want more diversity and different fabrics and patterns then your best bet would be online merchants. This way you can take our time looking at the many styles to choose. Blackout roller blinds would be ideal for the person that needs total blackout. So think about that if you prefer light filtering fabric or mesh.

Those who are into natural materials will be pleased to know that you can get blinds that are made from cotton. These won’t be ideal for very dusty places but it’s still an option if you prefer natural over synthetic material. If you are looking for a stylish economical way to install blinds on your windows then roller blinds might very well be your best option.
